# ondine/remark

Compile Mermaid fences in Markdown and MDX to SVG at build time.

The `ondine/remark` entrypoint exports one remark plugin. The plugin compiles with the same module as `ondine/compiler`. It works in each tool that runs remark, such as `@mdx-js/rollup` in Vite. The [Vite](/docs/guides/vite#compile-markdown) guide shows the setup.
